Tuesday April 21: Playdate at the Zoo!

We're hitting the zoo this coming Tuesday for our monthly play date!  The sunshine should return, sop ack your hats and sunscreen, and maybe a picnic lunch, and join us for some fun walking around with the kiddos.

Storytime at the Firestation!

Fire Station Playdate!  Meet at the Boulder Rural Fire Department (6230 Lookout Rd, Boulder). They'll read a story, give us a tour and let kiddos climb the fire trucks!  Also, pack a lunch to take to Joanna's house afterwards (4754 Tanglewood Trail, Boulder). 

Tuesday, Jan 20th: Playdate at WOW Museum

Hi All!
Hope everyone can join us for a playdate this Tuesday at the WOW Museum in Lafayette (click here for directions).  We're meeting there at 9am - we'll meet by the front entrance so that we can all enter together.  If we have 10 or more children, the group rate will be $6.50 per child (under 1 & adults are free).  Without the group rate, the fee is $9.00 per child.  Hope to see everyone Tuesday!

Tuesday, Oct 21: Pumpkin Patch!!

Hi Ladies,

Hope everyone can join us for my personal favorite playdate of the year - Cottonwood Farms Pumpkin Patch!  The picture is of my daughter at Cottonwood when she was 16 months - couldn't resist the preciousness :)

Cottonwood Farms is super fun pumpkin farm for toddlers. They have a small hay maze, farm animals, corn maze, steam engine, hay rides, and farm stand.  Everything is free unless you decide you want to buy a pumpkin.  We will meet at the entrance around 10:00 am.  We will leave from the farm to eat lunch at Joanna's house (please pack a lunch).  Please note in the comments if you think you might make it to lunch.  We are looking forward to a fun morning.

Tuesday is forecasted to be 84 degrees, so we're hitting the playground!

White Rocks Hike & Swimming-August 13th

For our August hike, we will be heading to White Rocks Trail in Boulder, west of 95th and Valmont.  Meet at the parking lot at 9:30am-note: this hike is a little earlier, so that we can have lots of swim time fun.  This is a stroller & bike friendly hike.  After our hike, we will head to Colleen's house for some swimming fun!  Bring your lunch to Colleen's house.  She will have some snacks & treats for us.  If you would just like to meet us at Colleen's house for swimming only, we should be done with the hike around 11am. 

Directions to White Rocks Trail:
The trailhead is located 0.75mi West of 95th Street on Valmont Rd.  Park in the parking lot called North Teller on the south side of the Rd.  There is another trail that leads from this parking lot, but we will be taking the trail that leaves from the White Rocks trailhead on the North side of Valmont.

MOPS Zoo Outing-July 30th

Join us for a fun day at looking at giraffes, zebras & monkeys (thought I'd change it up a bit from the usual lions, tigers & bears-oh my)!  We will be meeting at the giraffe statue at the entrance of the zoo at 9:30am on Tuesday, July 30th.  If you have a family plus pass or extra passes you would be willing to share, please bring them with you!  We will be eating at the zoo, so bring a lunch or money to buy a lunch.

Waneka Lake Park Hike & Playtime

Our 2nd hike of the summer will be this coming Tuesday, July 16th at Waneka Lake Park.  There is a 1.2 mile, stroller friendly fitness trail.  Meet at the west entrance off of Caria Drive.  We will start walking at 10:30am, then back to the park for lunch and playtime.

April Playdate - 4/16/2013

Hey Girls!
So.... we had planned on meeting at the zoo this Tuesday, but with a forecasted high of 36 degrees, probably not the best idea.  Instead, we are going to meet at Monkey Business in Westminster at 10:00.  http://westminster.monkeybizness.com/
